FAPS
Frequency Analysis of Power-supply Systems (FAPS) is an advanced analysis tool for estimating the conducted harmonics generated on electrical systems and in-particular traction systems.
FAPS has been developed by TNEI as a joint development with Alstom Transport and SNCF. The objective is to significantly improve the harmonic modelling and frequency domain characterisation of electric rail networks.
It was the subject of a paper presented at RTS 2010 - Railway Traction Systems.
