How to find IPSA Power

IPSA Power Limited is located on the first floor of Capcis House, Echo Street, which is on the UMIST campus. Capcis House is on the corner of Granby Row and London Road. The entrance on London Road is Bainbridge House.

Route Information - Manchester From:

• The North Via M6 M61

  Follow Stretford signs into M62. Leave at exit 12 and join M602 Salford. At end of motorway, follow A57 Manchester sign (Regent Road) for 1 mile. At 3rd traffic lights, fork right, under railway, and join A57M (Mancunian Way) at roundabout. In 1 mile, leave at A34 Congleton sign. Fork right on slip road, following UMIST sign. The multi-storey car park on Charles Streetis now in sight and is entered from 1st turn on left.

• Yorkshire Via M62

  Leave at Exit 17 Salford and follow A56 towards Manchester for 4 miles (Bury New Road, becoming Great Ducie Street). Enter City under railway bridge (Victoria Street) and keep straight ahead, still on A56, into Deansgate. In 1/2 mile, after passing Kendals store, left at traffic lights (TOWN HALL sign) into John Dalton Street and straight ahead at next lights into Princess Street. In 1/2 mile pass under railway bridge and immediately turn left at lights into Charles Street for the UMIST multi-storey car park.

• Derbyshire Via A6

  Follow A6 signs towards Manchester City Centre until reaching the roundabout junction with A57M. Continue on A6 (second exit) and in 200 yards pass under railway bridge and turn left at traffic lights into Fairfield Street. Pass UMIST Main Building on left in 200 yards. Turn left at next lights into Sackville Street. Pass under railway bridge and turn right into Charles Street for UMIST car park entrance.

• The Potteries Via A34

  Follow signs for Manchester through Congleton and Wilmslow, 4 miles North of which the A34 becomes a dual carriageway. Pass over M63 and in 3 miles, at roundabout, take 2nd exit, following LONGSIGHT signs. (Ignore the A34 for the City Centre, which takes the 1st exit and passes under the railway). In 1 mile, merge with A6 and follow this road towards the City Centre, as for DERBYSHIRE.

• The South and Midlands Via M6

  Leave at Exit 19 and follow A556 Manchester for 4 miles. Join M56 Manchester at roundabout and follow to end as for NORTH WALES & CHESTER.

• North Wales & Chester Via M56

  Follow Manchester signs to end of M56 Motorway and keep straight ahead into A5103 Manchester for 4 miles. On reaching roundabout beneath overhead road take 3rd exit, following A57M Sheffield signs to next roundabout; then second exit, up ramp to join A57M. Keep to nearside lane for 200 yards and leave at next exit, signed A34 Congleton. Fork right on slip road, following UMIST sign. The multi-storey car park is now in sight and is entered from 1st turn on left.

• Merseyside Via M62

  Leave at Exit 12 and join M602 Manchester. At the end of the Motorway follow A57 Manchester as for THE NORTH.
